This place has such a great coffeehouse vibe. It's small, but has plenty of seating. The young lady working there was super helpful in recommending places in Port Townsend to visit. We loved the coffee, which they roast themselves. It seemed like this is a place the locals really enjoy, and I would absolutely recommend it for a quick coffee stop on your way into town. Parking is a little wonky, but there is a lot of space in the industrial area there, so I'm sure you could park anywhere for short term.
Just got my first coffee from there with some family and had a great experience! The Irish cream mocha is honestly the BEST Irish cream coffee I’ve EVER had. The turmeric chai honey was so warming and delicious. If you’re a huge Christmas fan, I recommend the hot chocolate. Brings you to Christmas no matter the season. I’ll definitely continue to support this coffee shop!

Excellent coffee, very friendly staff. Great place to take your doggie. The outdoor seating is great, no matter the weather. Best local custom roaster and variety of beans! You can grind your own or they will grind for you. They even deliver for larger orders!
Wonderful coffee and really nice staff!! This past Christmas I ordered a whole set of coffee to give as Christmas gifts to family and friends. I will do so again but this time sending back east. The espresso is very flavorful. Even when you walk into cafe the aroma is just so! good! Highly recommend!
I have been a regular of Sunrise Coffee for a short while now and could have made this review at any time - they are always great. The employees are welcoming and quick to take your order. They make Sunrise a pleasurable and relaxing place to get a delicious coffee, nestled in the middle of the windy boatyard! It’s such a great spot for cozy conversations too!
I've been stopping by Sunrise Coffee Company as I passed through Port Townsend to and from the ferry for about a year now and I just realized I've never posted a review. I absolutely love this place. Even throughout the covid-19 crisis SCC has been able to provide coffee via take out and of course the bagged coffee is still available and they are shipping. The staff are genuinely friendly considering Port Townsend can get a little touristy and even though I only pass through once or twice a month they know my order and they always have a smile!! Thank you Sue and all the staff who have always been there when I needed that cup of coffee as I run for a ferry! Cheers!
I was in Port Townsend in 2021 when I came across this gem of a coffee shop purely by accident. I was waiting on a family member to conduct some business, was in the mood for a cuppa Joe, read positive reviews and thought I’d check it out. This place has the most comforting cup of coffee I have ever had. All of their coffees give you that same satisfaction, but offered in different rich flavors. I live 2500 miles away from this business and won’t order my coffee from any place else.
